Simple Building Improvement (Recycle function)
Crazyico replied to Crazyico's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
Can we have a recycle function where the resources don't "explode" everywhere? I would prefer it if when I press recycle the resources are instantly transported to my hand *and backpack if applicable. The current system sometimes glitches and the resources clip the remaining structures and it's just really inconvenient when youre doing a renovation or an improvement. Thanks! *Added an edit about resources going to backpack and/or hand. Thanks! -

“Location Obstructed” Issue
Tylerrr replied to JumpingAxe33's topic in Grounded: Feedback & Suggestions
Agreed, I’ve had this happen to me and my friend constantly. Like bro, I just want to make a base aghhhh -
Thank you for your consideration, time, and efforts. I love this game and all games made by Obsidian. I find the studio to be a real inspiration in game dev. At any rate, thank you again. Have a wonderful day. Buggy: 1. Peep.R use on the Buggy would be great for exploration and battle preparation, especially in new areas. 2. Automation of task, i.e., Buggy can be sent to chop down grass stalks and store them within a given area of the base. 3. Buggy armor and weapons (i.e., portable buggy-mounted acorn turret) Armor: 1. Additional bonus for weapon-armor combo (i.e., ladybuy armor set with ladybug shield provides additional bonus--also, why not make a ladybug hammer weapon?)

Hello! Me and my dad were playing Grounded 2 and when he joined he was loaded in with a bunch of different UI all on his screen at once (the UI when riding a buggy, building, etc). He had to superquit and then join back and that fixed it.

1. Sometimes pressing ESC to exit a menu doesn't work. 2. Button layouts don't save. So everytime I launch the game is have to go through and do all my button layouts. 3. While looting killed bugs, I sometimes don't get any loot. 4. Overall stability is a bit rough while playing online coop. Games crashes a lot. Which takes me back to issue #2 with button layouts not saving.

mounting buggy when collecting resources
Reaper420 replied to Raven Scar's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
While on your buggy you can just collect the resources -
What if there was a velvet worm boss that had a large body, strong melee, and a glue attack. It would drop resources to make a glue gun that stops enemies in their tracks. More of a mid game boss then late game

Pet and their inventory disappeared
TBNRDounts replied to Suddzy's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
As of August 1s,2025 the disappearing pet and inventory issue is still not fixed -
As I am trying to 100% the game, I am not allowed to complete the Mix.R. I have completed all story quests in the game and disrupted all 4 ORC receivers. When trying to complete the Mix.R, I receive an error message stating that I still need to complete all of the ORC Receivers, which I have done. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any word on the spell casting bug that’s stopping the player from aiming aoe spells and instead cast them directly on the player?

I’d like to see even MORE lines customized to their styles, hobbies interests and more like when max pulls a torch out in day or night he mentions it being dark, he could have a line for when it’s day like “ isn’t it a little to bright for this?” Just stuff customized more to how they think like Pete could mention how “light waves wouldn’t actually help In the daylight” or something the have tons of fun lines I loved hearing for the first time playing grounded 2 I’d love to see even more added in a near future! And for the thing TopOppCloudy said, maybe they could each have a buff to the archetypes, Willow gets buffed in rogue like daggers and such, Pete gets mage buffs because he like minatours and myriadons, max gets warrior buffs, and hoops gets ranged because she can shoot far in basketball.

Been playing mulpi with my son on Xbox and the game consistently crashes while playing. Either at a menu or whole engaged it just freezes then kicks us back to Xbox home. Love the new sequel but it's getting very frustrating.

While exploring the new park I kept coming across really interesting stuff I was unequipped for and wanted to come back to, roots, milk molers, etc. Opening the map, I realized I could only place one waypoint, otherwise I'd have to build a trail marker. Playing Grounded 1, the amount of Trail Markers became cluttered and sometimes made it difficult to differentiate interesting points. This worked as it prevented me from making too many and kept the backyard somewhat mysterious for it's size. The Park however, is huge, really huge. If the trail markers are meant to mark points-of-interest (PoI's), plus adding on the underground or above ground layers, the player's hud will become more and more cluttered as they get farther into the game. This, in combination with the employee of the month posters, gave me an idea. The devs could include an Ominent Software Engineer that had been working on the Sca.b2k and was lost. As the player progresses through whatever labs, nests, hives, enlarged entertainment pieces, what-have-you they have in the park, the player could find Sca.b updates that provide better orienteering and tracking capabilities. The base one could provide some basic map tacks(or stickers, tags, stamps, etc.) and as the player discovers more updates they could provide more specific tacks like individual bugs or colors, a compass of some kind to the hud, maybe even a mini-map option (but that one may be a bit far even for my taste). These tacks or stamps would only be seen on the map screen, these aren't intended to replace Trail Markers or waypoints that mark places you're travelling to. These are more to mark areas as the player progresses through the larger world, they can mark hunting grounds for specific insects, or a certain tier of resource. The size of this park is staggering and I am very excited to see it fully, but my memory is terrible and I was already consistently surprised by Grounded 1 with it's map size so I feel this would provide an individualized tracking of progress while helping the player keep track of what they've already learned and seen. That's my two-cents and I'm excited to hear what others think of this idea, so please, any ideas anyone's guys got, share away.

I personally think the omni-tool is a step backwards. Upgrading an alloy tool with random trash makes no sense, but building better axes and tools as you aquire materials made perfect sense! This is a huge L for grounded 2 and a reason why I only have twenty hours on it so far. I just cannot stand holding x to grab any and all resources. Tools were wonderful in G1 when you'd kill a nasty and scan the bits and BOOM you had the ability to make your gear stronger, which fit with every form of armor and weapon in world. Omni Tool needs to go.

DrSobota started following Omni Tool doesn't belong

In grounded one you could use your tools as weapons, and had the associated mutations to really leverage what you were good at. If you had a base builder, they weren't suddenly useless in combat as the Axes had a class of their own that was USEFUL. The omni-tool is awful to use, upgrading an alloy tool with yard scraps is hilariously silly, and you cannot use it without sitting somewhere and holding X to grab a resource. Yard Gnomes save you if two resources overlap as your poor tool spazzes out trying to harvest both. MAKING tools made so much more sense in Grounded, yet for some reason we have to reinvent the wheel? Why? There are PLENTY of bugs and parts to make actual tools with. Please roll back the omni tool as our only tool, because this is ridiculous.

Hey, honestly, Grounded 2 is great, but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. But when I fall from a short height with a spider, sometimes I get knocked back and die instantly. I'm pretty sure it's not fall damage, because I take fall damage first and then die. If anyone else is having similar problems, please comment.

Map feels generic and bland
kane.hall88 replied to Rafał Dudek's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
This was one of my absolute favorite parts about Grounded 1. First, for years I'd been saying how cool a survival crafting game would be for a "Honey, I shrunk the kids" situation so I was very excited for the game. I downloaded it day one and started building my base and exploring. After a couple of bug fixes they released a slightly larger update that changed the layout of the yard slightly. I had built my base on that little rise just above the exit to the kid's carrying case tunnel and after the update, I loaded it up and found half my base had been destroyed and a large footprint was where it was. Now, from a mechanical perspective they had changed the map layout and clearly my save had loaded the new space over the old. However, gameplay wise it felt like someone had stepped on half my base and destroyed it. I was laughing more than I was disappointed. It made the game and world feel alive and it was a lucky experience to work out the way it did. One of my top ten gaming moments just for how well everything worked with each other. So, be patient and get excited to see what changes the park gets. Also if you look at the map, the border of the map is waaaaay bigger than what's currently available. -
