Inez bug
alexbethschur replied to DovahGirL27's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Having the same issue too, also i have the speech bubble bug. Inez and Niles both have permanent speech bubbles over their heads and no amount of talking to them will make it go away. -

Its excellent, one of the best police dramas I have ever seen. Complex and nuanced characters really make the show You should watch it to the end -
Xbox series X. Still bugged for me. I met Inez, came back to milverstreet and handed in the quest. Didn't realise that Inez was supposed to be there at that point. Went of to do other things thinking it's a maybe I need to return later sort of thing. She isn't there and I can't talk to milverstreet. I've already killed all the drones, talked to people in town as recommended and went to and from the ship. This needs a fix asap as it is literally game breaking.

Radiantliezlzi started following “Serial Killer” perk not working as intended
-
After discovering what the Flawed perk did, I set out to optimize it by keeping positive flaws from appearing while weeding out those I did not want and rejecting them. With only a few more before I was ready to take Flawed and let the positive ones I had avoided go through, it seems that most flaws are no longer triggering. Specifically, the Overprepared and Treacherous flaws, which previously required dedicated effort to avoid, now will not appear no matter how I try to activate them. I am reasonably confident that I have reloaded a save properly every time these flaws appeared, which should leave them in the pool. Others that are not appearing include Luddite, Bibliomania, and Dangerously Curious, though I was trying to get these so that I could reject them. *Spoilers* For posterity, I completed the N-Ray Range to see if the N-Radiated flaw would trigger, and it did. This one may be special, though, on account of activating upon completing a scripted event. Anyway, hopefully some light can be shed. Is it intentional that the game caps out on giving flaws after a certain number are offered? Is this a bug causing these not to appear? I would greatly appreciate thoughts, ideas, information.

Have you downloaded the update? If you've done that it all shows up after completing the introductory quest. I'm ps5 too, and it's all there now. -
Yes the US could target the Soles cartel bases within Venezuela, thats why they have deployed naval assets. Its already been raised as a possibility Thats not the same as attacking the government of Venezuela and Maduro can try to spin that as much as possible and then people can decide to believe that targeting drug cartels is the same as targeting the state. I would expect that type of sensationalism and SM outrage Saying all that targeting Soles and Venezuela is not going to make much a difference to drugs being smuggled into the US. Firstly drugs like cocaine come mostly from Peru, Bolivia and Colombia and then most of the drugs are smuggled by Mexican and other cartels through the border, air and pacific routes. The Caribbean routes are just one way Here is good link on the Soles Cartel so you can understand its relationship within Venezuela https://www.caracaschronicles.com/2025/09/26/what-you-should-understand-about-the-cartel-de-los-soles/

themaster24 started following Trooper Ashby Missing
-
When I first encountered Trooper Ashby and engaged in his dialogue, I noticed the special option that requires Inez. So I loaded up a save from before I engaged with Ashby, and progressed my quests along until I was able to get Ashby to join my crew. Shortly after doing so, I went back to talk to Ashby and he's nowhere to be found. I double checked the site where he blows himself up with a grenade, if given, and there's no body or ground damage there. Is there some sort of hidden trigger that makes him disappear if not engaged after a certain point/amount of time?

I am playing through Aza's quests and I am at the n ray range. While going through it I killed everyone that I could find. When I got to the room that has the barred door with archivist trammell inside there were 2 people in the big room and 2 behind the door. I killed the 2 in the room and proceeded through the rest of the building and talked down Victor and had aza cut him up. Then as I was leaving I remembered there were 2 people left so went back to see if I could get into the room. After searching the entire building for a couple hours I decided to look it up. I find that archivist trammell was supposed to be alone. While all this was going down the enemy that spawned in the room with trammell had killed trammell. So my question is, is there a way to rectify this or am I cut out from Aza's quests. ps I dont have any saves from before killing Victor.

I completed all of the requirements for mysteries of the mental modulators prior to getting to The UC. Now, I am unable to complete this quest to move forward with the main story. Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and has a work around. Or if there are Devs that look through at these issues - has this already been reported? Note: ALL of the requirements were met while exploring Placid Waters Wellnitarium - including rescuing a certain someone. - I went to the UC after doing this and could not progress when getting to this quest. - After revisiting the facility, rechecking all of the terminals, and trying to reinteract with everything possible - the quest still does not progress. But the quest line shows as complete. - Killed the head refresher - Still have the medication in my inventory
