Same thing here, using a 9800x3d and rtx5080 and i get around 40-60 fps depending on where i am in the map, had to drop the render resolution to 65% to get semi decent fps

I was hoping they could add southpaw support to Grounded 2 so that one could switch the left and right sticks. So that you move with the right stick and look with the left. I know that you can change it in the Xbox controller settings, but then using menus is weird. I'm hoping it's an easy enough addition that although it's niche that it can be added.

After 2 hours of play on my Xbox series X, I tried to save, only got the loading files symbol on save screen. I had seen the auto save notice during gameplay. i quit to menu, it said it would save. But when I try to log back in, the continue option takes me to load screen with loading files screen. so save files either didn’t happen, or cannot be found

Also, I don't know if these forum or monitored as opposed to the Steam forums, but I'd like to report that when you kill a fly in the beginning of the game and it fall in the water, the body disappear like a water droplet.

I hope so. My guess is that it is poorly optimized (as expected for an EA) and there may be memory leaks or something that cause huge, unnatural GPU/CPU spikes that force the PC to shut down. And the reason my laptop doesn't shut down is because it throttles performance to stay cool (why my PC wouldn't do the same, I don't have a clue). I mean, there's no world in which it is reasonable that I can play Cyberpunk 2077 and not Grounded 2 lol It has to be an issue on their end and I'll try next week hoping they fix whatever causes this issue.

If you equip your hammer, switch to an empty hot bar slot, then unequip your hammer, your arms are now offset and your left arm is in the middle while your right arm is far on the right. The only fix is restarting the game.

I can't see the hosts name above their head when from a distance? However they can see mine , have tried to look through settings but may have missed something, restarting did not help. Any ideas?

Bugs I've encountered in the first couple of hours of play. Other than the disappearing dandelion, I've seen/experienced them repeatedly. There's something that causes a stop on the next to last step of grass stairs (ascending). I have to jump that last stair to get up. This happens every time, whether there's a floor attached to the stairs or not. Intermittently when I hold shift to sprint, I instead sprint backwards. It happens often when jumping or ascending rocky terrain while sprinting. All dandelion tufts and stems just disappeared once the dandelion was chopped down. Sometimes I can't sort my inventory or container even when they're selected. I've also seen things like bees frozen in the sky and I don't know if you meant for aphids to be common underground, but I've found them in pretty much every tunnel I've explored outside of the orientation area.

Multiplayer kicks any joined players at character selection screen

I can’t even play the game. Every time I launch the game, it crashes. I wouldn’t care about not being able to play with friends but I can’t even play the game. I took the day off work and bought the founders edition. And I wasted time and money for something I can’t play.

clicking mulitplayer prompts that I have to connect to xbox network. I click OK, it spins, then goes back to main menu in game. nothing happens. I can see that my xbox and steam accounts are linked, the game appears to be signed into xbox network but it does not like it. uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted PC. Nothing helps. Xbox version seems to work fine but I want it on steam.

So, Tainted Grail did release "mod kit" - although they have limited "official" access to Discord app members, which irked me (and a few others) to no end. I found it uploaded on GitHub however. **** dev's and their Discord exclusivity these days. But it appears there is no actual .exe type editor function. It's just the asset bundles/directories that one is allowed to alter. I assume one needs an asset tool. I believe it's Unity. Is there a current (free) Unity tool for this kind of situation, that most would use? A perfunctory tutorial says stuff like "In Unity, on the top toolbar, select Window/Asset Management/Addressables/Groups to open Addressables Groups window" - what does "In Unity" mean? Would one need more than a Unity asset access/recompile tool? Bah humbug. Edit: I know there was something called UABE/A that ppl used but it hasn't been updated in almost a year. Many asset extractors but most of those supposedly cannot repackage. Perhaps now one simply has to make a Unity account and download the free version of Unity itself, which seems like a lot of trouble just to make small game mods. Double pfft.

Hello Obsidian Team, While I’m enjoying the new content, I’ve encountered a few issues with glitchy gameplay. These glitches primarily occur during resource collection, combat, and occasionally with general movement. Any assistance or potential fixes for this would be greatly appreciated. There was quite a bit of lag and a lot of objects were rubberbanding a lot. I had to click on items multiple times just to pick them up. Also there shouldn't be a need to load the shaders every single time we load into the game.

My younger son can’t join Grounded 2 multiplayer matches with his older brother. They share games through the home Xbox feature on game pass ultimate. My older son is the primary gamepass ultimate account holder but they never had issues before. When my younger son tried to join multiplayer it prompts him to join gamepass which should not be the case since they game share. Hope they fix this error soon!

My son cannot join multiplayer matches with his brother on Grounded 2. The system says he has to have gamepass ultimate but they game share with 2 gamepass ultimate account by the “home” Xbox setting. This needs to be fixed! He can play the single player game with no issues but can’t join the multiplayer match.

In 1st person mode, after hiding Warhammerlet Hoopses left hand swings in the middle while running. If I do that with other weapons it is normal, left hand on the left, right on the right, but with the warhammer the left one swings in the middle. Windows Gamepass

When I click attack it also disables it, but e.g. cutting grass doesn't.
