Perhaps the AOE effect is supposed to occur directly around Anjali, radiating around her body, not at the location of an attack, thus I wouldn't notice if enemies are at a distance when it goes off. However, I do often bounce around within the Aura of Immolation while surrounded by enemies, and still haven't noticed any knock-down effect go off. Hm. “Things are as they are.
