Has title says . I get food and drink from the people and explooration but i  cannot put in ship's cargo how do i do that. All food and drink found or bought is put in my party stash. 

Press "H" on keyboard to open up ship management screen and drag and drop food and drinks to ship storage.

 

Unfortunately the posts just say the obvious with out giving any information or help. I have food in my party stash, How do i get that food  to the ship, how do i transfer items from party stash to the ship? Or do i have to carry them around all the time. So for example i have tons of food in my PS but cannot transfer it to starving ship crew mates, if that is  the case then the game mechanics are stupid  on this point.
