Hi, 

this issue was already posted here but in "Stories" section while it is actually just bugged quest - when you speak to the captain in the Hole and start with second conversation option instead of first, Orron in the upper floor won´t play his full conversation and you have no option of making him give up his seats on the ship other than killing him. I also had this same problem while running the beta branch on steam. Can only resolve the quest by killing Orron or making the mother choose who goes
