Question

Posted

After having completed the Lighted Path and having saved the kid I went about doing other stuff for a few hours and then quit the game for the day.

When I came back the following day the ship with the Lighted Path on it was back so I went over to it again and the whole crew and the kid were all dead.

I figure the boat shouldn't have come back after I cleared it the first time.

 - At the stage of The Lighted Path where you have to intercept the ship

 - If a pirate ship is chasing the Lighted Path ship and so close that it engages you in combat before you can reach the quest ship

 - Fighting the battle results in quest progression on The Lighted Path (rescue Bearn) except you're on the combat map for a boarding action against the pirate ship except the pirates are not spawned and you cannot leave the battle.

I'm currently at the "Pursue the Lighted Path ship" stage of the Lighted Path quest, and even though I'm right on top of the ship, I can't interact with it. No clicking, no ramming, nothing triggers the next stage. I'm stuck just following it up and down the coast of Magran's Teeth hoping something changes. Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here.

And this quest is designed badly tbh. Judging from the marks in the journal you'd think it's a easy quest, yet there are quite a few high level pirate ships in that area. It's almost impossible to beat them without some upgrades at least.

I actually have this problem where I can't even find the ship anywhere after I exited Queen's Berch to chase after it. Why??

I talked to the lady in Gaun's temple then head outside right away, went to Queen's Berch (which took around 4 hours, considering the lady said the ship were meant to leave "right away" but whatever). Told Edér that I will chase after this ship immediately and went to sea, but no sign of ship. I'm pretty sure I went around the sea map looking for it like an hour already. Please fix!

Also Trade Secrets bugged and Edér in Night Market when he should be mayor but I think you guys know both of these.

Also, the quest won't trigger if Edér is away when you first meet with Xoti. He simply won't start the conversation and if you leave the map, the quest is lost forever. Only if you return with Edér to the spot, the quest triggers.

Guess I'll have to start over...

When I return to Hasongo after having saved Bearn nothing happens and the quest doesn't resolve.

Maybe that's not a bug and I'm missing something obvious but I'd rather report it all the same you never know.

Same here. I cannot complete the quest for some reason. There is no cutscene when I disembark in Hasongo. Why doesn't Bearn get off my ship???

This is what happened to me, and I am currently trying to chase in the direction of the ship but I keep getting intercepted by pirate ships on the way which loses me time that I need to find the ship. I am extremely disappointed that it looks like I'll be unable to finish this quest.
