Sometimes you are stuck with sog surface condition forever and can't run. It is not cured by rest either. Only reload helps.

 

Imo the whole sog surface engine is flawed by design. It should be a temporary effect reapplied only when necessary not a permanent effect that is checked with unclear conditions.
