Yosharian Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 I'm a little bit unsure on how stacking works or doesn't work in Deadfire. Maybe this could be a thread for questions on what stacks and doesn't stack? Well, anyway, these are the questions I have so far: 1) What does Zealous Focus (+5 accuracy) stack with? In Pillars 1, the Paladin's accuracy aura did not stack with spells like Blessing (which gave accuracy in Pillars 1, but in Deadfire grants the 'Insightful' inspiration, which grants +5 perception, which indirectly boosts accuracy). 2) Do inspirations, such as the previously mentioned 'Insightful', stack with standard Perception boosts from items, and so on? 3) Does the Fire Godlike's Battle-Forged ability, which grants +1 armor when Bloodied (under 50% HP), stack with the Goldpact Knight's Gilded Enmity ability, which grants +4 armor when Sworn Enemy is used? Cheers dudes Yosharian's Deadfire Builds
dudex Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 what i know so far item with same stat boost does stack. had multiple +1 int gear stack accuracy boost from fighter stance and monk dance do not stack. so im guessing magic based accuracy boosts do not stack. have yet to try ranger stalker link. aware + intuitive did not stack. tried it with a fighter and the priest spell.

Koth Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) yeah it's soooooo nice that attribute gains from items stack now... don't have to agonise trying to shuffle items around party members due to attribute suppression. Edited May 10, 2018 by Koth 1

dudex Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 played around with the ranger just now. every accuracy buff from ranger stacks just tested it. also gunner stacks with the reloading chant and rapid fire pistol modal. rangers will have insane accuracy like always. ill prob make a monk/ranger see how often i can trigger the instant extra attack when crit. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/931561028379188319/B8DA9CC177FDD29C3D8E4CE80B58CFD9C09726E9/
Yosharian Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 Interesting. I had another question: if you have a racial passive resistance to, say, Dexterity afflictions, and then you pick the passive skill tree ability that gives you Dexterity affliction resistance, do they stack to give you 2 'ranks' of resistance? They didn't stack in beta, not sure about now.
