In my first stab at the game, Eder's quest triggered right after Xoti joined my group. I restarted from the beginning, changing my start game choices and now his quest has not triggered.

Does anyone know what the actual trigger for the quest is? Could it be you don't get the quest under certain start game conditions?

Thanks

He seems to trigger right after you meet Chokey and company. Just talk to him about his past 'friend' when he says something about it.

As soon as I've moved after the Dawnstar conversation, it pops.

Right after you meet Xoti. He wants to find his past lover, just to talk to the Dawnstars after you recruit her.

Looks like I may have missed the alert to strat the conversation. I don't remember seeing the choice to ask about it but I'll go back over all his options to make sure.

I have a similar problem. I had Eder removed from my Party temporarly at the time when I recruited Xoti ... and now his quest does not trigger.

I'm having the same problem. I had Eder in my party when I first found Xoti and

after I recruited her and talked with the Dawnstars, Eder's quest never triggered.

Going to try and gain a positive relationship with Eder and see if it trigger's then.

I trigger it at the Queen's Berth, near that Ethoas priest. My guess is you have to have a positive relationship with him and being near a dawn of fivestar NPC.

So Eder's quest finally triggered for me while I was wondering around Queen's Berth in Neketaka (Out of the blue Eder said we need to talk).
