Hi there,

I haven't seen this issue reported yet. When I attempt to play Pillars for the first time after completing the download, it immediately gives me this message:

"There should be 'PillarsOfEternityII_Data' folder next to the executable"
 
I have looked for the output log, but there is no log file in the directory (in the PillarsofEternity2_Data file)

This is a strange issue. Basically, you shouldn't have that "PillarsofEternity2_Data" folder, and instead, it should be named "PillarsofEternityII_Data".

 

Can you try verifying the cache? And if that doesn't work, try renaming the folder to the proper name.
