Anyone got any experience with this multiclass? Mostly asking regarding Xoti.

Superficially it seems quite an odd match, but I thought so of Sage as well until I saw a Youtuber buff a half-Hellwalker up, then proceed to beat up everything.

Contemplatives can work well, but, from what I've seen of Xoti's unique subclasses, they don't seem to be particularly well suited to it.  Her wacky wound-generation mechanic seems like a poor pairing with spending half her time in combat doing Priesty stuff.

(For a main character, Wael contempatives are really nice, as they have access to some of the same self-buffs that Sages utilize so well.)

Trying out one, Wael, at the moment.

The idea is to have hard-hitting Monk protected by the priest buffs and heals. Running Nature Godlike before it gets nerfed ;) as Transcendent Suffering scales with PL and triggering Wellspring of Life (+2 PL) comes from using abilities which would be used anyway (Swift Strikes) or from useful situational buffs.

As usual, dumping/maxing stats to see the limits: max MIG, PER, INT, dumped RES and CON to 3. So far (level 7) it is one of the strongest solo contenders I tried (have not touched Paladin, Fighter and Chanter yet). I mean what is not to like? Fast, hard-hitting attacks with two weapons, high deflection from Weal (Arcane Veil, Mirrored Image, Lengrath's Displaced Image), amazing self-heals from high MIG and priest, aoe and duration from INT ... yeah I know the CON and RES are extreme but my Monk is Nalpazca.

I've been running her as contemplative.  Dual wielding fists is kinda nice because you have low recovery which lets you react quickly with abilities like withdraw and suppress affliction.  Devotions of the faithful is a good buff for martial characters too so there's a bit of synergy at least, and later you can use minor avatar.

I mostly use suppress affliction, withdraw, consecrated ground, and devotions for the faithful.  Rest with a standard dual wielding monk setup...  the special upgrades on her shield are worth using if you'd rather be more defensive though.
