atommsk Posted May 6, 2018 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Don't have beta and never tried Firebrand much in POE 1. Is it worth multiclassing, say a fighter or paladin, with druid mostly for Firebrand? If it has been improved to be more like the Spiritual Weapons (given a Flaming Lash) then it might be. Boeroer Posted May 7, 2018 Share Posted May 7, 2018 It's just a regular (scaling) great sword that does burn damage instead of pierce damage. For that you invest an ability point, a spell use per encounter and a quite lengthy summoning time. THe only situation where it would be useful is if you meet enemies which are very vulnerable to fire but have very high AR against pierce and slash damage.
