During the Supply and Demand quest after speaking to Aefre, Maea does not give the option to go speak to Bricanta about the prices of Bitter Squash. I tested both high and low reputations with Hose Doemenel and the option just doesn't appear. The attached save is after speaking to Aefre and doing a favor for Bricanta.

I had same problem.  There are other options I don't have enough attributes to select.  All I can do is "I have to think about that more" and then I don't have a conversation option with Aefre to oppose her.  I guess I could attack Aefre but my character doesn't really want to do that.  I guess I wanted to talk to each side first before deciding who to side with but it ended up I can't advance the quest without more attributes talking to Maere or I can just attack Aefre but I didn't really want to take it to that point.
