Can't purchase PoE 2 via the obsidian website

Here are my steps:

 

* Select the "digital obsidian edition" (Steam) and click "purchase now"

* Fill in details and accept T&C, click "Buy Now"

* See attached for the result.

I've experienced these issues before (Magento Web Support Developer) but I'm obviously not in any position to fix this for Obsidian.

 

In the meantime, why not just pre-order direct through Steam?

I'm not positive, but I believe orders placed through the Obsidian website provide more profit than those placed through Steam, which gets a cut.

Almost assuredly, unless Obsidian is powering their services through something which takes an equally large cut. I believe it's 30% for Steam, though I think small Indies or something it might only be 15%.
