daven
To quote a message from one of the developers in the Linux topic.... ' Hey (you bunch of forgiving gamers) We currently have no plans on releasing the Backer Beta outside of PC (Steam, and GoG). The final release of PoE 2 will be supported on PC, Linux, and Mac. Sorry to all Mac & Linux users - SKing [EDIT] If you backed expecting there to be, we apologize this wasn't more clear. You can definitely hit up (Obsidian Support) and you can receive a refund in regards to this.' 2 nowt
DocJback
Dude... So bummed. I saw the supported platforms as PC, MAC and LINUX for the release but didn't see any specification for the Beta.
demeisen
Dude... So bummed. I saw the supported platforms as PC, MAC and LINUX for the release but didn't see any specification for the Beta. I feel ya - I didn't see the limits either when I ordered the beta (on Linux here). FYI, one of the Obsidian reps offered a refund for the beta cost to people who can't run it, although I'm personally inclined to chalk it up as it a donation to support one the best CRPG series in decades, given how absurdly awesome POE1+WM was. (Really hoping they'll rethink a couple of the POE2 changes though...)
cheesevillain
You might be able to run it through wineskin. It's a freeware virtual machine that simulates a windows environment inside a Mac. I might be in the same boat as you guys soon. My only pc is decaying quickly, and my only other computer is a MacBook.
