Merisiel's Acrobat Item Collector power is adding to checks to recharge Sihedron Medallion

This has happened in multiple scenario. Merisiel is Acrobat. She has the Improved Item Collector power. She has a Sihedron Medallion. When she discards it to reduce damage, she can attempt to recharge it. It is an Arcane check. She is rolling 1d4 +4.

Maybe the game is programmed to solve this ability so that the game thinks that Merisiel is obtaining it anew? I observed the same with Ezren's Spell collector ability a long time ago (but not in a galaxy far far away). When Ezren with such power tried to recharge spells, the bonus from spell collector applied, increasing the check bonus by 2 or 4. I don't know if it has been fixed since.

Edit: Does it work on Wand of Enervation, too? If so, it might be a possible cause for duplicating wands. If the game thinks the owner is obtaining the card anew and in some very rare program branch it does not delete the second wand... Who knows?

The duplicating wand of enervation is interesting.. I'm still trying to reproduce it reliably.
