So you're going to be able to import your save file from Pillars over to Pillars 2. That's absolutely fantastic and all, but I have a question regarding the final choices you make in Pillars.

The latest autosave in the game is right before you fight Thaos, and you do have an opportunity to save after you decide what you're going to do with his soul. However, you do not get an opportunity to save your game after you make the ultimate decision as to what you're going to do with the Souls he imprisoned.

This leaves me wondering how the game's ultimate decision before the ending (and arguably the one with the most lasting impact on that region of Eora) would be accounted for? The game probably should have had a pop-up right before the credits asking if you wanted to save or not.

When you make the final choice in the game it makes a final, hidden, save file - like all save files this includes all the recorded decisions.

Sawyer held a dev stream while the Deadfire was crowdfunding where he clarified it - here is a link to relevant part of the Twitch stream.

Soulstreams cant melt Adra pillars.

I think the game will just be able to go by itself into your hard-drive/ssd and locate the file automatically. Maybe it won't even need your help in location.

Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother?

What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest.

How do you feel, Watcher?  The body may heal, but the soul is not always so resilient.  (Especially when Durance is around).
