April 26, 20178 yr I believe I've found my answers by searching, but I want to be sure. In the current version, Do some/all/no Phrases stack? Does Ancient Memory stack? My thinking is that if they DON'T stack, I only need two Chanters in my party. If they DO stack, I may just go with 5 or 6. Thank you!
April 26, 20178 yr All damaging phrases stack completely. That's it with the chants. The 30pt shielding chant kind of stacks as well. It surpresses each other but once 30pts are used up the formerly suppressed shield kicks in immediately. Ancient Memory and Beloved Spirits stack as well. They stack with every other healing source, too. 6 chanters with Dragon Thrashed as the only phrase and 6 times Ancient Memory, Beloved Spirits and Veteran's Recovery as well as survival 14 is pretty OP. April 27, 20178 yr Bah! 6 Chanters should be nuttin' but Bunch of Choir boyz! Instead Pillars turn them into needing S capes! No matter which fork in the road you take I am certain adventure awaits.
April 27, 20178 yr As a general rule, just assume that offensive abilities (from multiple sources) stack and defensive ones don't. It's easier to keep track of the exceptions rather than the other way around. Edited April 27, 20178 yr by scythesong
April 27, 20178 yr If you are trying to optimize breaking the game: 5 chanters + cipher for phantom foes, recall agony, and body attunement - pulls ahead of a priest buffing MIG. The downside is you have to press buttons.
April 27, 20178 yr Author Oh come on, Blades, you don't like tight harmonies butt kicking for goodness?? ;P Great to know, scythe! Thanks MasterC, but I love my Barbershop Sextet!
