Signed CE Question

What exactly gets signed with the devs autographs?

 

The protective foil (if there is any) or the box itself? If it's the second option, would it be possible to leave it unsigned even though I'd go for one of the tiers that would include the Signed CE?

It would be the box itself.  Signing the plastic wrap seems a tab bit silly, and very very hard.
