moonbeaver Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Are shop prices supposed to go down when your reputation increases? For example, I wanted to buy "Tall grass" pike in Dyrford. When I first arrived, the price was 12075, with default reputation. After I've done all the quests in the area and reached maximum reputation, the price was the same. I remember it was different when I first played the game a year ago. What is the purpose of reputation then?
jsaving Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 The purpose of reputation is mainly for dialogue checks and the like. By design, reputation has no impact on shop prices, though I agree there's an argument to be made that it should. 1
house2fly Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 It 100% should. It should have a huge effect on prices as well, since if it did affect them that would be the only thing it affected in the whole game
