Personally I would go with Durganized medium armour and use that extra speed to Offset Savage Attack, that 20% extra damage is going to hurt on a base 60 damage weapon.

 

Haven't tried interrupting blows, but my high-ish perception Melee wiz seems to be locking things down quite well, I'll give it a go and tell you guys what I think.
