senturion Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 The best thing about buying RPGs until 2012 was the ability to get a physical copy of the game with a map, and all other cool schwag that accompanies the game. Will it be possible for this to be a reality in the future? I still have all my Baldur's Gate 1/2 schwag stuff and like having it. Especially the maps. They're fun. 1
Tale Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Probably going to be up to their publishers. Paradox isn't much of a box publisher. Though Pillars certainly did have a box edition for Kickstarters. I have mine still in plastic. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Labadal Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Tyranny can be bought physically in Europe. You could import from amazon or similar sites. I've even seen some sort of special edition.
Humanoid Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 And with the exchange rate you can pay as low as $35USD for that special (Archon) edition from the UK. Archon Edition includes: Original soundtrack CD. Digital high-resolution game map. Digital high resolution wallpapers. 60 Page full colour printed art book (physical item). Short story collection. Printed A3 wall poster. Amazing value for a bargain bin price. Thanks Brexiteers! L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G
