I salvaged 50+ cards of various rarities before realized that I was not receiving any gold from the salvaging despite the animation showing.

 

Is there any way I can get the cards or gold back?

There has been ui bug. You get the gold, but the gold Number does not update. When you close up the app and come back the gold Number should be right.

I have seen this happen as well.  All gold is credited upon restart.
