Unable to start new party after tutorial -game breaking

after beating tutorial my character screen is all messed up and im unable to create a party. Ive tried eveything i can to remove the game but it retains that. Any ideas on how i can fix this or just delete the cloud data. Im using a fully ipdated ipad air.

Going into further detail my characters have no name, no skills and no cards. If i drag them down nothing happens. Ive unistalled and logged out but nothing changes. Ive played the tutorial over but same issue when i go to create a party.

Edit:  I also loaded the game brand new on an IPad Mini under my wife's gamecenter ID.  I completed the tutorial and the same issue happened.  So its not my account or my Ipad.  Has anyone been able to start a new game since new update from scratch as a brand new player?

Eta is, when the dev Finds out how to fix the problem + testing + inspection time by Apple and Google. If we Are really lucky, in this week, but most propably early next week. So if the dev fix it today, it still will take a couple of days. And one day fix is always a riski busines...

I'm in software so I'm well aware of the challenges. Having said that, if I had new customers and they weren't able to use my application for the first 11 days of use, I'd consider that a risk too. Hope there is some kind of compensation involved (gold).

One in a half week? Seriously?  What if it didn't just effect new players? And no one could play the game, would 1 and a half weeks be ok for you?  I've played a lot of mobile apps and seen a lot of game breaking bugs, I think 3 days is the longest they have gone unfixed.  Its a business.  We are the rare few that actually cared enough to come to the forums.  I would guess 90-95 percent of the new players, realized the game was unplayable, deleted and moved on never to visit again.

 

Most of the time a hotfix is done next day or the day after and doesn't even need a patch.  But i've seen next day patches to fix something a major patch broke.  I'm pretty sure a hotfix doesn't require the same window a major patch does.

 

I'd guess this gets fixed today or tomorrow anything else would be devestating for them.  Imagine with the reviews start rolling in for the new patch, they are all going to be 1 star because no one can play it.   That will have long term effects.

Just bought the base game plus the $24.99 bundle last night. Played through the tutorial and got stuck like everyone else here. Disappointing to say the least. At least they are aware of the issue but am surprised at how long it is taking them to fix.

I'm assuming the bundle I purchased will be remembered after I re-install the game with the restore button I think I remember there being in the store....

 

 

edit--I got home and deleted/restored just now.  My previous bundle purchase was remembered without incident.  Looks like a night of little sleep tonight-lol.

It's fixed. Woo-hoo! I am afraid if I reinstall that the $25 bundle I purchased will be lost so will wait to be safe.

Dont worry Ryan, all of your purchases with real money or gold will be stored to the server, so if you reinstall or change devices, that will stay with you always.
