June 7, 20169 yr Do we get a free treasure chest when we start? I've never bought one but the chest icon to the left of the gold shows I have 1. I click on the 1 and it takes me to a screen with a red background and a glowing/vibrating chest but no matter what I try I can't get the chest to open.
June 7, 20169 yr You should be able to just click the chest and it'll pop open with 4 cards to add to your vault, which you can then "find" as you explore the game. If you didn't purchase one with your gold, then maybe it's a graphic bug? Try to save up 500 gold and get a new one, see what happens

June 7, 20169 yr If you didn't purchase one with your gold, then maybe it's a graphic bug? Every new player gets one free chest. You can use the 'Mark Solved' button beneath a post that answers your topic or confirms it's not a bug. The time that devs don't have to spend on the forum is a time they can spend on fixing the game.
June 7, 20169 yr Author It's funny as I've been tapping on that chest on and off since I started playing about 3 weeks ago. As soon as I make this post and check the responses I go back in and tap on it yet again and voila, it opens! Anyways, thanks for the replies!
