Can't go east of Black Meadow?!?!?

Im currently stuck.  I need to go to the area east of Black Meadow however there is nothing there on the map.  No other areas to click on.  Basically im trying to get around that broken bridge but cant get very far east or west

If you rest at an inn or camp in the wilderness, you will trigger the next part of the quest.
