Maybe a weird question, but are cloaks and capes equipped to characters meant to be graphically represented? When I equip these items they do not appear on the character models at all.

Same question for pets, I got the dog from the inn at the first town in my inventory, and I read somewhere that pets follow you around but I see nothing.

I'm on Linux (*buntu 14.04), through steam.

The Unity-plugin the devs used for capes doesn't work with Linux. :(

Pets: they work with Linux. You have to put the pet "item" into the pet slot of the main character. You will find the black hound in your stash.

Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

To be precise, the cloth plugin stopped working. Cloaks did work during the backer beta, but broke some time very near to release, and they never rematerialised.

I have a project. It's a tabletop RPG. It's free. It's a work in progress. Find it here: www.brikoleur.com
