Elerond
Or are they the same? No. Vailian Republics is like Canada, Australia or New Zealand and Old Vailian is Great Britain. (Or maybe Brasil as Vailian Republics and Portugal as Old Vailian would be better example as Vailian language has it roots in romance languages)
zered
The Vailian Republics were originally colonies of the Grand Empire of Vailia. The Empire no longer stands and the Republics govern themselves now.
FlintlockJazz
Old Vailia is like Rome and the Vailian Republics is like Florence and Venice I believe. The Empire no longer stands and the Republics govern themselves now. This. Old Vailia is what used to be the Vailian Empire's heartland. The Vailian Republics are colonies that broke away from the Empire. Important stuff to know if you're a Watcher from Old Vailia. 1 I stream every Friday at 9pm EST: http://www.twitch.tv/ladaarehn Currently streaming: KOTOR 2.
