The fix is not retroactive.  If you want the rest of those spells you will have to start again.

Have gun will travel.

Or use the console to give yourself a new copy of the grimoire.

Seriously can we fire someone from QA over this? It looks like they either not take their work seriously at all anyways; or they are so overworked + underpaid it would be a favor firing them.

QA don't fix issues; they just report them.

Programmers fix issues, and fixes can't always be made retroactive for a variety of reasons. PoE's team is already rather small and a good slice of them are working on TWM pt. II, which doesn't leave many people working on the updates. I believe they are doing a great job given the time and resources at their disposal.

Great job? Did you actually play the game (or read this very section you're in *right now*)?

Every patch introduces more problems. We're 6 months and an expansion after launch. And still the game has more bugs than a CCC indie title. Nothing works.

If your game isn't even working why rush to make an expansion? Is this their idea of keeping up with their KS promise, by half-assing everything and delivery a sub-par product both times?

The console command to give yourself a new copy of the book is very easy to do and definitely works, if you're on a playthrough where it's not retroactively fixed.

Hello everyone,

We are aware that the issue is not retroactively fixed. I have already informed the team and updated the bug in our system.
