Wald0
Hi everyone, I really enjoyed playing bg2 and i'm looking forward to getting into this as soon as I can. Here's the situation: I recently got rid of my old rig (580gtx 2600k) with plans to build a new one. My old one lasted for about 4 years, its done its job and been great but I figure its time for a new one. Now, I hear these new Pascal gpu's are coming out in 2016, so I would rather not drop a load of cash to build one right, especially because i'm interested in running 4k. So I was just wondering, since I really want to play this game right now, perhaps someone could recommend me a kind of a middle of the road system that will run this well with the purpose of just getting by for now. Also just a side question, how is this game on 4k resolution? Thanks, looking forward to playing.
LaSpeakeasi
I run it on a 2013 MacBook Pro. And it can run the highest setting no problem. The graphic engine is very well optimized. CPU on the other hand... erm, performance is not ideal. Loading takes quite a bit of time.
Oralaina
I'm running it on a 6 + year old Systemax from tigerdirect: AMD Phenom II 945 3ghz 16 gig RAM win7 ult 64 bit NVIDIA GTX 460 SE gpu (1 gig RAM I think? not sure now) Runs everything at maxed graphics. The load time's a bit wack - but it helps if you move saves you probably won't need to some other folder. I tend to save a LOT - so when I'm done for the day, I just move everything but the autosaves and the last named save to a storage folder on another drive.
