Infinitron Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Listening to the cheerful background music of my stronghold while Durance was having his final crisis of faith was not very immersive. 4
gkathellar Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Companion conversations in general do. You could have one track for all of them pretty easily, too, since everyone is a big pile of angst. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
Starwars Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 This is a pretty good point actually. I ended up actually choosing the place to have certain conversations to try and keep the atmosphere intact. Mostly ended up being the Endless Paths. But yes, in the future, it'd be great to have music to fit some of those conversations. It can get pretty weird as is. Stoner Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I turn off music in every game I play, especially ones requiring lots of reading, distracts alot + music mostly sucks in games (no idea if this is true for PoE). No problems with immersion that way.
