The only thing that might cause problems is if the Trials of Iron does not produce a pre-pit save game as a separate save. I assume it does not. For the ppl playing this mode there could have been a warning about the possibility that they may lose an automatic save on the final chapter, but then again these people are willingly taking this mode and they take into consideration that they might restart the game a few times.

I mean i would assume that they would like to check if they can beat the whole game on the updated balance rules too... so they would have no problem with starting a new game.

Other people have a save from before the end-game as every single narrative heavy good RPG in the past... they are just too lazy to go through a couple of maps and final combat again even if they will get more levels and better gear in return to help them with that last battle...

It makes no sense in insisting to make it so you cannot play past the ending.

Alot of people want to do this. That is why fallout 2 allowed it.

And why bethesda learned to do it with fallout 3 (aftet broken steel) and has said that the same will be true for f4.

Bioware has also gotten the point. Why piss off so many people?

You mean, like ME3... who puts you pre-the end of the game... JUST LIKE THIS GAME.

Boggles the mind doesn't it. Yet still people find it reason enough to go full "wtf modus" and 'These games did better' who did exactly the same. Talk about a plate infront of the face.
