[bug] Appearing as friendly to hostile NPCs

euseka

Question

So on level 8 of the endless paths I've encountered a bug which has completely made it impossible for me to continue playing. Two of my characters do not get aggro'd by enemy NPCs and can not target enemies with spells or abilities that would not affect allies too. I imagine this has to do with the charm person spell Fampyrs cast causing them to bug out but basically this needs to be fixed cause it's a total joke. Attaching my save. Tried rezoning and reloading and am verifying game files atm. If that works I'll amend this post.

Not sure what the issue is.  Fampyrs cast charm and the charmed character should start attacking the rest of your party.  If they are charmed then they are considered part of the enemy group and won't aggro except for being attacked by the rest of your party.  If the character is doing nothing but standing around and still allows you to click on them to give spell casting commands that affect your party it definitely is a bug.

I thought it was pretty obvious that I wasn't talking about while my characters are actually charmed. This is after combat when I go to start another encounter they still act as if they are charmed even though I'm in full control of them. As in spells that effect only enemies will not effect enemies so the only thing I can do is force attack on enemies or use spells that would also hit allies. If I click on an enemy to attack them without forcing it they just walk up to them and my characters can walk among groups of enemies without being attacked. The reason I mentioned Fampyrs charm, which seems to have confused you, is that the effects of the charm have remained on my characters permanently even though I am back in full control of them. There's no question about whether there's a bug or not, there is a massive game breaking bug that has made me stop playing completely because 22 hours of gameplay have been wasted.

Hi euseka,

I downloaded your save and observe the AI issue. I am not sure what's caused it but I'll make sure the team is aware of it.

Got a bug :cat:?? Help us squish it!
