Hiravias won't follow

I met Hiravias and invited him to join the team. He accepted but didn*t follow. I restarted steam and the game (newest version installed), I even tried to get him by meeting him in a 5/6 group but still no druid in my group (

 

So is this a bug? Are there requirements I don't meet?

Do you even get the option window to recruit him? If so, try to dismiss him and make him rejoin at some inn.

 

In any case, you should get the popup window to manage companions, if the joining triggered.

Hi there, would you mind uploading a save near the issue you are talking about? I'm unable to reproduce this issue on my end. Please upload your save to an external site like dropbox and I'll take a look.

Hey, thx for replying.

During conversation with Hiravias I chose the option "the help of a druid would be most welcome" - joins party. The text may be a little different because I play in another language...

I travelled back to my fortress but can't recruit him when leaving or in an inn.

He stays in Stormwall on spot and gets a yellow marker just as inns or houses I can visit.

I put the latest files I found online.

I'm having the same problem as the topicstarter. I don't know if his problem has been solved yet but i'll explain a little bit of my situation. I'm using the steam v3.03.1047

 

So i played around 25h, been to the city and surroundings doing quests and when i encounter hiravias i get through his dialogue untill the promt come's up whom i'm to swith out for him joining my party and when i switched him with another character. Either both characters are gone from my party or everything stays the same (with my textbox saying that hiravias joined & then left the party for some reason)

I tried multiple times, different save file's, going through different dialogue line's from hiravias. I even tried going to the keep afterwards and swithing characters there. But that doesn't help at all. He just doesn't want to join.

 

And sometimes when hiravias "joined my gang", he's on a different spot on the (same) map. And when i talk to him, its like his in my party because i can ask him oppinion about my mission/friends etc. One time he was even in the keep map somewhere around the western bridge instead of going to the inn-like place with the different rooms.

Its very annoying since i can't progress and i want to wait a little bit before going further since this could be a faulty save file or something
