April 21, 201510 yr When a weapon is enchanted with a lash effect, a visual indicator appears on the weapon (e.g. a Burning Lash weapon has a flaming blade.) However, said visual indicator does only show in-game, and fails to display on your paper doll in the inventory screen (I suppose the same applies to level-up, but I haven't tried.) SAVED GAME: link REPRO STEPS: Load the saved game. Observe that the main character has a Freezing Lash weapon displaying a visual effect on its blade. Enter the inventory. Observe that no visual effect is on the blade held by your character (paper doll.) The same steps can be followed with Edér, who wields a Burning Lash weapon in the same saved game. April 21, 201510 yr The effect also does not display on the character's paper doll (when the weapon is equipped and selected). These are probably not bugs so much as design limitations.
April 21, 201510 yr Author The paper doll is what I actually meant. I wouldn't expect it to show on the icon Edited my first post to clarify what I meant. May 12, 201510 yr Author Still an issue as of 1.5. "Time is not your enemy. Forever is." — Fall-From-Grace, Planescape: Torment "It's the questions we can't answer that teach us the most. June 7, 201510 yr Author Still an issue as of 1.6; bumping for visibility. Additional repro steps: Load the saved game. Take a normal weapon with no enchantments, right-click, go to "Enchant" and apply a lash effect to it. Go back to the game and observe the blade now has a graphical effect applied to it. Go to your inventory and observe that the effect is missing. It is worth nothing that unique weapons that already come with a lash effect (e.g. the great sword Temperacl, which comes with a corrosive lash) do display the relevant effect both in-game and in your inventory.
