[1.04] Leaden Key assassins kill Serel in Brackenbury

I entered Brackenbury from the west (leaving Ondra's Gift) and encountered Leaden Key assassins. Some of them were obscured by the fog of war. Apparently Serel aggro'd or they decided that she was part of my party, because as I proceeded toward the Charred Barrel, I found her remains on the other side of the fountain.

This happened to me even before the first patch was launched. But I saw the whole thing. They approach saying something like they would kill you. They proceed to kill Serel immediately, once she is dead they proceed to attack me.

 

Furthermore, this had happened in all of my playthroughs where I bought Serel's medalion.

FYI that this minor bug is still present in 2.03. Should we assume that this is working as intended?

You can save her life if you use careful sneaking to approach the assassins from the right direction, and use disables like Prone to prevent them from getting to Serel...

Yep.

 

But if it's a bug, it would be nice if they fixed it.

Does anyone happen to have a save before this fight so I can take a look? This is indeed a bug, but it would be very helpful if someone could upload a save.

Head to Brackenbury and everything will be queued up. If you feint right a little, you can see Serel aggro (making her a target for Leaden Key). If she gets hit by a spell she switches from friendly to enemy.

Hah! And I've always thought this was intended, albeit weird.
