Game length without fast mode

Featured Replies

I'm casually wondering how the game length of PoE would compare to BG, BG2, Fallout NV etc. if it didn't feature the fast mode.

I'm guessing it would be a lot longer, even though it's already long. Thoughts?

What difference does it make?

None, hence 'casually wondering' :)

If you only ever use fast mode when moving you probably cut a few hours off a playthrough.  I don't think it makes that much difference honestly.  And PoE is probably somewhere in between BG 1 and BG 2 lengthwise.

I mainly play on normal speed.  Don't use slow and only use fast mode in cities after thoroughly exploring or in wilderness areas I have explored and want to cross quickly.  Unless you use fast mode constantly I doubt it makes that much difference.  Length of game will depend on play style.
