I was just playing away, starting act 3 and the game crashed..ok it happens very occasionally. Restart, continue and keep going. But when I restart the load and continue options are greyed out. I guess the games updated. Is there no way I can retrieve my game? I'm about 25 hours in and I don't want to start again. It's the furthest I've got..played about 6 games to try it out and try out the companions and I just don't think I've the time or the inclination to start from the beginning again

Happened to me once, it was odd. I restarted the game and the saves worked. :|

Yeah, it has happened to me that the game wouldn't show a particular character's savegames at all. Restarting the game did the trick.

Thanks guys. Rebooted the computer and looks like I'm off on my travels again
