Update on this - a fix has been included in the upcoming patch (in some edge-cases, entering the brothel through the east side could cause its area transition to fire before a scene got resolved).

will the fix make it so I can use that save once more or have I lost that game forever ??

Yeah, the quicksave you provided - made before entering the brothel - will work perfectly.
