Hostile Hall of Revealed Mysteries: Not sure if bug or not

Got the same issue, entering in stealth mode won't help. Worst thing is that I dodn't steal anything here, but they are still hostile . All game is  screwed...

I've also had this issue, it's nice to know there's a workaround.  I'd like to mention that, if you do the scroll quest first, you'll get free access to the room with the book so you don't have to sneak in.
