Do characters that get knocked out in combat still receive XP at the end of combat?

 

Actually is there XP for combat in PoE? I notice I'm not getting XP for kills that are done through Cipher's Tenuous Grasp skill.

No, there is no combat XP. You get XP for completing quests and filling the bestiary.

So do people who are knocked out get the XP for filling the bestiary?

I think so, yes. Although whenever you get XP, the log says "You got X xp for doing Y", not how much each character gets.

That X is how much each character gets.
