Why do small shields give you accuracy penalty?

Description on them reads that they do not  "interfere with a warrior's accuracy at all".

Yet when i equip one, i loose 10 accuracy.

Any insight on this?

Yet when i equip one, i loose 10 accuracy.

Assuming we're speaking BBv480, you're not receiving a -10 Accuracy penalty for using the shield, you're losing the +10 Accuracy bonus from using a single one-handed weapon.
