Hello everyone.

How do secrets and traps work in this game? Must you be in stealth, in order to find them? What skill allow you to find them easier?

Sorry if its common knowledge, i tried look it up, but did not find a answer. :(

Stealth mode doubles as search mode, yeah, but finding hidden objects and traps is keyed off of your mechanics skill.

I think it's called "Scouting mode" or something

Does perception play a role in the detection of hidden items/traps?

So it seems the mechanic skill is a little overpower.

Depending on how much you want your heart to jump, "Auto-Pause: Hidden Object" is known to lower stress :p (but is, consequentially, also known to take away surprise/shock value)

EDIT:

So it seems the mechanic skill is a little overpower.

I had 8 Mechanics and my girl was 1 step away from blowing herself up on a trap in the Backer Beta (I think you can get to 9 or 10 Mechanics in the BB at that point if you put all points from all accumulated levels into Mechanics, but that means sacrificing points in the rest of the Skills). I didn't have Auto-Pause but I managed to react to it *sweat pearls*
