[392] Paladin Won't Stop Casting on Load

Featured Replies

[Description]

After saving and then loading the game, a Paladin created in the adventurer's hall will not stop casting its combat aura modal and will not accept further commands.

[Details]

I created a level 3 paladin in the Adventurer Hall at the inn, leveled them to 3, activated their aura, saved and loaded.

Issue will recur immediately upon loading attached save files.

[Other Remarks]

I have two separate save files showing the same behavior.

I can confirm this works for Paladin's that are created at the character creation screen, not just adventurer's hall.

Yeah, it's a known issue, and not just with the Adventurer's Hall. It's been reported multiple times.

For now, as a workaround, try repeatedly clicking the modal and then trying to move, repeat until it works, and the Paladin should snap out of it.

I think this may have something to do with the fact that they made Auras "Combat Only" (...why does that concept even exist...?) but Paladins are still set to recast/reactivate them on loading, or something. Just a personal suspicion.

Yes, for whatever reason, Auras are actually set to be "Combat Only", check the tooltip. It's as insane as it sounds.
