The Druid's ability "Wildstrike" does add the damage. The attack is just not showing the split of damage types in the Combat Log.

I'm not sure if the designers have decided yet.

Is it still the case?  Even if it doesnt split the damage in the log, well.. It says for example "XX slashing damage" which isnt true if there's elemental damage in it :)

No, all damage is separated in the combat log now. It will show x fire + y slash - Dr = z
