Hi Obsidian community,

I saw beta pre-order was going to be cutted off on 22th of August. Left me no choice but stop wasting money for food and other secondary needs and giving obsidian whatever money remaining on my bank account.

So, I don't know if it's still a needs on forums, but I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. Hi, everyone I look forward to play Pillars of Eternity.
Right now all I have is blurry idea of several pictures from the game. I kept myself from watching videos, I'm not even sure about gameplay's features. But that's what I like. Having some mysteries before the first play session.

Cheers to all. If you have any "things you'd want to know before you first play" advices, I'm all yours.

Regards, Smithfield.

Me to. (Hello!) Looks like this is gonna be great, I'll get it as soon as it comes out. I love Baldur's Gate, and still play the Enhanced Editions, so I was super excited when I heard about this, and I want to get to know the community here. I'm pretty active on the BG:EE side of things, but I'm not sure where to start here. Any suggestions for a new guy, anything I should know?

(Also it says my posts need to be approved by a moderator, is this normal for a new user? I tried searching but I couldn't find anything.)

Afternoon guys/gals/other

Enjoy your game time, i am enjoying PoE( Regardless of it shortness ). We just have to remember that it is in Backer-Beta so a decent amount of ironing out is still needed. All i suggest is Save often on your first run through to help with the glitches. Apart from that have fun, and post as many suggestions as you can think of for possible improvements/glitches.

Don't forget to save your money for that perdy looking Stronghold!!

Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a day...

Set a man on fire and he will be warm the rest of his life...

Thank you guys! it's a blessing to read (so I can remember ):

Since (as a lot of us I guess) I lost the habit of quick saving at each major step forward. I point auto-save, check point, and "Exit and Save options :)

Yep, if someone's got more, still open to tips!

Cheers
