August 19, 201411 yr I get micro stutter when I change clothing color, heads, hair etc Windows 7 SP1 x64 Intel i7 870 @ 2.93Ghz 16GB DDR3 1600MHz AMD HD7970 3GB Probably just a code optimization issue
August 19, 201411 yr Author I would also like to note that I experienced a similar issue in Shadowrun Returns when loading the character models in the inventory, and it could be related to the Unity multi-threaded renderer or Unity loading assets from the HDD. Edited August 19, 201411 yr by Sensuki
August 19, 201411 yr Author Yep, just as I suspected I'm getting a similar error to what I was getting in Shadowrun Returns which shows up in the Unity output_log.txt (Filename: Line: 1617) HandleD3DDeviceLost HandleD3DDeviceLost: still lostSkipped frame because GfxDevice is in invalid state (device lost) Hairbrained Schemes were never able to (at least in the original Shadowrun Returns) fix this issue, but they were able to decouple it from the sound also micro-stuttering in the original. I have not personally played Dragonfall. Here is my output_log.txt file http://www.upload.ee/files/4216677/output_log.txt.html
August 19, 201411 yr The FPS drop on small customization changes is known and we have a fix in the works right now. The updating of the character on any change just needed to be optimized. Thanks for the post! Twitter: @robyatadero
