gholam Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Hi, guys. My brother and I are both big cRPG fans and we are both going to play the game. So I was wondering if I purchased an "Extra Digital Download of the Game" add-on does that mean 2 games on 2 separate Steam accounts so we can play simultaneously?
Ahvz Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 They're going to be giving you codes for Steam/GoG, so just send your second code to your brother and have him redeem it on his account. So, yes.
IndiraLightfoot Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I have done so in other Kickstarter-campaigned games, and then given such extra Steam copies to friends and family. The answer is yes. *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
Lephys Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 You know... I just find it interesting that that's something the big, regular retail releases don't do. Imagine how many more people would get the collector's edition of some upcoming EA title or something if they actually offered additional, barebones digital versions of the game with such a purchase. Just goes to show the difference in attitude. Kickstarted games: "Spread the love! The more people who play it, the more they can tell their friends about it, and it's just good business!" Big industry games: "Let's see how many ways we can charge you for portions of this game..." 3 Should we not start with some Ipelagos, or at least some Greater Ipelagos, before tackling a named Arch Ipelago? 6_u
