Hi, folks!

 

I'm playing a jew (Lv 14) right now and my ability Plague of Egypt somehow disappeared.

In a combat I can only choose between four instead of five abilities.

Has anybody else encountered that issue?

Yep but mine was a different ability. It seems that when you hit 14 or 15 one of your abilities vanishes.

Wow, no one else but the two of us getting this issue?

I'm sure others are, but they just aren't posting. When I played as a Jew, I did not encounter this issue.

Same here, Lv15, jew, after cure AIDS, Plague of Egypt disappeared.

I've forwarded this issue to design.

The more information i can get the better.

 

Did all of you recently cure AIDS? Did you have the ability fully upgraded? What items do you have equipped? 

hey i got this one too . but mine was when i reached level 13 and upgraded my ability , in my case (mug) coz I'm a thief, i was upgrading it to tier 3 and it just can't, it just stays in tier 2 of the ability and suddenly when i got into combat, i can't pick the mug ability, it just disappeared after that. I tried loading another save and tried to upgrade the ability (back stab) and it did the same thing . it can't be upgraded and it disappeared during combat and the same applies to other abilities .
i can't find any solution for this, i thought i was alone and then i saw this post .

It seems to be a random ability that it happens to. The times it happened to me I did have AIDS cured and the ability was fully upgraded.

I never encountered this when I was in that class. What's the point of curing Dire AIDS anyway? Does it even really do anything?

If you finish the game with AIDS, it gives you an achievement/trophy.

IF anyone can provide me with a PC save with the missing ability, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have the 360 version...I guess I will go buy the PC version. Started a brand new game on the 360, different class as well, hit level 14 and poof my last ability vanishes and I cannot spend any points even when I hit 15. This is very frustrating.

 

Update: Just finished the Canada Quest and now a 2nd ability is gone, just leaving me three. What the heck?

Also, I lost Jesus as a summons...what is going on here?

 

And yes, I went back to church and got the rosary...still no Jesus to select.

Has anyone provided Mr. Burke with a PC save?

I haven't gotten the PC version yet. All I have is the 360 version.

Obviously the issue never got fixed despite being several months old. It's still happening to me, and I've played as a Jew and Mage and it still glitches out any ability upgrade from level 14 onward, also removing the ability you try to upgrade (which leads me to believe instead of upgrading, the game is setting the ability to 0 or a negative number).
